[SPRING 2026] 8 Weeks Beginner Uyghur Language Course

Course Overview

This is an 8-week live online program designed for those who want to learn Uyghur, focusing on building a strong foundation in spoken, everyday Uyghur. Each lesson weaves in aspects of Uyghur culture, enhancing your learning experience. 


Classes meet weekly on Zoom, offering two live session options: Saturdays at 8:00 AM PT and Sundays at 6:00 PM PT, running from March 14 to May 3, 2026.

Hi, I'm Dilara, an Uyghur originally from Urumqi and now living in the United States. I work in the financial consulting industry while pursuing my Master’s degree. I value teaching the Uyghur language and sharing Uyghur culture through this course. I received formal education in the Uyghur language from elementary to high school and earned multiple writing awards. Through our classes, designed for those interested to learn Uyghur, I hope to share warmth, openness, and a sense of connection. I’m excited to welcome you and support you on your beginner Uyghur language learning journey in Spring 2026.

SAT Session Enrollees: 

March 14th Saturday 8am PST (Pacific Standard Time)


SUN Session Enrollees:

March 15th Sunday 6pm PST (Pacific Standard Time)


After your payment is successfully processed, you’ll receive a welcome email from info@1001nightsoflessons.com with important course details, including Zoom links and access to the community chat.

If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder and mark it as “Not Spam.”


No worries—life happens, and we’ve built in flexibility! 


You have two options if you miss your scheduled session:

1. Attend the alternate live session
Both the Saturday and Sunday sessions cover the same material each week. If your schedule allows, you’re welcome to attend the other session during the same week.


To help us track attendance, please send a direct message on Discord channel / email your instructor at info@1001nightsoflessons.com to let us know you’ll be joining the alternate session.


2. Watch the class recording
If you’re unable to attend either live sessions, you may request a class recording by emailing info@1001nightsoflessons.com.


Recordings can be shared on Mondays and are available for 48 hours before expiring.


Full Refund Policy

If for any reason this course isn’t the right fit, you may request a full refund before the first live class begins (3/13/2026). 


Partial Refund Policy
If you choose to withdraw after attending Week 1 but before Week 2, you may request a partial refund of 50% of the total course fee. This deduction accounts for the Week 1 live session, course materials, administrative costs, and reserved seat in the cohort.


No refunds are available once Week 2 begins (3/20/2026). Please email  info@1001nightsoflessons.com to request a refund.  


Submit homework through the Discord Community Chat: 


  1. Download the Discord mobile app (or use desktop)
  2. Join our Discord Community Chat using the exclusive invite link in your welcome email 
  3. Submit  your weekly homework in the designated homework-submission channel to receive feedback from instructors and classmates. 


(You will be added to your session's homework channel on 3/14/2026.)
 

If Discord is unavailable for you for some reason, you may submit your homework by email at
info@1001nightsoflessons.com


This course is speaking-focused, so most homework assignments are designed to help you practice speaking confidently. Approximately 80% of homework submissions are speaking-based, and will be submitted in Voice-notes via Discord Homework channels. 


The remaining assignments may include light written or comprehension exercises to support your speaking progress.
